Workshop Overview:

The Greek myth of Demeter and Persephone tells a story of grief, separation, descent and return — one of the most powerful feminine initiation stories in mythology. At its heart, it speaks to the cycles of life and loss, the transitions between innocence and maturity, the relationship between mother and daughter, and our relationship to the Great Mother.

In this one-day workshop for women, we will explore this powerful myth as a mirror for our own psychological journeys — through the lens of Jungian depth psychology, archetypal symbolism, and soulful self-inquiry.

Together, we will reflect on:

  • The inner descent: times in life when we are pulled into darkness, grief, or transformation

  • The mother-daughter dynamic and how it lives in usLoss, separation, and the search for wholeness

  • The seasonal wisdom of cycles — withdrawal, return, and integration

  • What it means to reclaim power and belonging after a disfficult time

  • Returning to life, joy and wholeness
