I’m pleased to accounce the details of my upcoming one-day workshop — The Alchemy of Goddess Archetypes, taking place at The Psychosynthesis Trust, London, next spring.
Coinciding with the Spring Equinox on March 21st, this workshop explores themes of descent and renewal through Goddess myth, and how these archetypes can support the therapeutic process and personal transformation.

🍂 Autumn Reflections
As autumn deepens and the light softens, I’ve been reflecting on how the change in season can affect us — physically, emotionally, and psychologically.
This time of year naturally draws us inward, into the threshold between light and dark, a space of descent and renewal.
As the days shorten and the leaves turn russet and gold, many people notice a dip in energy or mood — a need for more rest and quiet. Slowing down isn’t always easy in a fast-moving world, yet it’s often what we most need.
When we feel low, anxious, or resistant to stillness, gentle self-care becomes vital. These are the small, grounding acts that help us to feel soothed and reconnected — even when things feel unsettled inside.
🌿 Simple Self-Care Ideas
• Listen to calming music by candlelight with a blanket and warm drink
• Read a novel that nourishes your imagination
• Engage in a spiritual or reflective practice — meditation, yoga, or prayer
• Yoga nidra practice
• Draw, colour, or doodle with no outcome in mind
• Keep a journal
• Browse through art books or inspiring images
• Use essential oils in a diffuser or rollerball
• Have a soulful conversation with someone you trust
• Spend quiet time with a beloved pet
These small rituals can help with feeling aligned to the rhythm of nature — slowing down, conserving energy, and preparing for renewal in the year ahead. In this busy world, it can be so difficult to keep a gentle pace. It can be helpful to remember that all of nature is preparing to slow down, to provide a space for rest, for clearing the debris from the forest floor.
Reflection ~ can you allow a little letting go of productivity to give space for your soul? If not, break it down into smaller steps, can you give yourself a 10 minute tea break or a 20 minute gentle walk?
